Cisco’s double awards for FPT- Information System
On 1st November 2009 - the annual Cisco Partner 2009 was held at the InterContinental Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City . At the ceremony, Cisco granted FPT Information System (FIS) two important awards namely TOP Advanced Technology and Customer Satisfaction. Deputy General Director Nguyen Tuan Hung, on behalf of FIS, received the awards.

This is the highest award Cisco gives to its partners and 2009 is the fifth consecutive year FIS has been awarded.
Cisco Partner is an annual event that is organized to announce the company’s business performance and to grant awards to partners who have made remarkable contribution during the year. At the meeting, Cisco revealed that its total revenue in 2009 has reached 62 million USD. It planned to earn 100 million USD in 2012 with the growth rate of over 15 percent per year. The company also disclosed its development strategy and new services in the next three years and introduced Vietnamese staff.
As assessed by Cisco, Vietnam is one of few countries with stable growth rate possibilities in the coming years. This was also mentioned in the essay by Phan Huu Thang, an economist, who had foreseen the opportunities and challenges for Vietnam economy with the GDP’s growing prospect of 5.3% in 2009 and would increase to 6,2% in 2010.
