FPT’s profit-before-tax increases 48.2% in the first two months in 2010
By the end of February 2010, the profit-before-tax of FPT Group reached up to 222 billion Dongs, attaining impressive growth rate of 48,2% compared to the same period of 2009. The corporate revenue was over 2.400 billion Dongs, increasing by 7% in comparison with the same period of 2009.

This impressive result is attributed to the performance guaranty by business lines that were little affected by the long Tet holiday including telecommunication services, training and ICT product distribution.
In regard of software outsourcing and system integration, FPT has also gained optimistic results, forming solid foundation for the completion of the 2010 plan. Specifically, FPT USA won a one-million-USD-contract. A number of new contracts were signed by FPT Information System including the one of the project “Development of IT Infrastructure for the Ministry of Planning and Investment” worth VND 36.2 billion, the 34 billion- Dong- contract with the Data Center of the General Department of Vietnam Customs and the first BPO contract with Japan.
