FPT Play acquires exclusive premier league broadcasting rights in Viet Nam

Ho Chi Minh City, December 08, 2025 — FPT Play announced today that it has become the exclusive broadcaster of the Premier League in Vietnam starting from 2026, marking a new era of bringing world-class English football into every household.

 

 

As part of its strategy to deliver premium sports content to audiences across the country, FPT Play will hold the exclusive rights to broadcast and promote the Premier League in Vietnam from January 1, 2026. The rights package runs from mid-season 2025/26 through the end of the 2030/31 season, covering all platforms including terrestrial television, cable, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile, public screenings, and social media exploitation.

 

This ensures that Vietnamese fans remain fully immersed in the Premier League alongside 1.87 billion viewers worldwide, enjoying uninterrupted access to thousands of world-class matches. The package includes nearly 200 matches during the 2025/26 season and 1,900 matches over the subsequent 5 seasons. All matches will be streamed across FPT Play’s platforms with professional Vietnamese commentary, with many fixtures produced in stunning 4K quality.

 

To secure these rights, FPT Play has entered into a strategic partnership with Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS) and Monomax, the official and exclusive rightsholders of the Premier League in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. This milestone also marks JAS and Monomax’s expansion into the Vietnamese market.

Notably, this announcement comes shortly after Chelsea FC, one of the Premier League’s most iconic clubs, revealed its global partnership with FPT Corporation in April 2025.
