FPT Software and Toshiba have reached an agreement to cooperate in Artificial Intelligence (AI), affirming FPT’s serious investment in this emerging technology.

Under the cooperation, the two companies will work together on an AI project to provide services tackling problems that customers are facing. Initially, FPT takes responsibility in collecting and analyzing data, employing and evaluating deep learning. Toshiba Digital Solutions will provide input for the project which serves as basis for FPT to study, suggest and carry out solutions.

Through this project, FPT Software hopes to train and better equip AI engineers with practical experience. FPT Software Chairman Hoang Nam Tien asserted that FPT will be the “bridge” connecting Toshiba Digital Solutions and Vietnamese leading researchers in Mathematics, AI and Data Science on a global scale. “FPT’s offshore development center namely SAT Lab is a key step in strengthening the cooperation between FPT and Toshiba”. He also added.

Toshiba Digital Solutions strongly believes in the professionalism and capability of FPT Software’s dedicated AI team. The project team is expected to quickly respond and address issues, especially to put themselves in the midst of new challenges in order to work together towards the goal of delivering best quality products.

FPT Software has employed a great number of qualified and competent engineers working on world latest technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Robotic, Blockchain, etc.

FPT and Toshiba launched the cooperation in 2012 with a project on Cloud TV. Since then, the cooperation witness a focus on developing software, deploying and distributing Toshiba’s products and solutions in Vietnam.
