FPT still in Vietnam’s Top 5 in Information Technology and Communication

In 2007, FPT Corporation’s revenue reached VND 13.893 trillion, contributing VND 1.915 trillion to the State coffer. In 2008, FPT will continue to strengthen its software outsourcing activities with the opening of two overseas companies: FPT Software Europe (in Paris) and FPT Software Malaysia.

This is the 6^th consecutive year FPT has affirmed its leading position in ICT, winning most prizes in the Vietnam Computer Electronics World Expo held by the Hochiminh City Computing Association.

The 5 awards FPT and subsidiaries acquired this year include:

- TOP 5 Leading ICT Company in Vietnam in 2008: the Corporation for Financing and Promoting Technology;

- TOP 5 Leading Computer Brand in Vietnam in 2008: FPT Elead Computer – FPT Elead Computer Center;

- TOP Leading Vietnam Software Company in 2008: FPT Information System;

- TOP Leading Vietnam Software Outsourcing Company in 2008: FPT Software;

- TOP Leading Vietnam Information Technology Training Institution in 2007: Aptech Vietnam
