During a working session with leaders of the Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee, FPT reaffirmed its commitment to advancing digital transformation, accelerating AI adoption, and expanding its education system in the province.

On September 7, a delegation of Ca Mau leaders visited FPT for a working session on the development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation across the province. The Ca Mau delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee. Representing FPT were Dr. Le Truong Tung, Chairman of the University Council of FPT University, and representatives of FPT’s member companies and units.

The Ca Mau delegation highly appreciated FPT’s dynamic and innovative ecosystem, which aligns closely with the province’s digital transformation needs. The two sides expect their partnership to accelerate innovation, expand its impact, and deliver more tangible outcomes.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan acknowledged FPT’s cooperation and support for the province. He also proposed directions tailored to Ca Mau’s specific characteristics to accelerate digital transformation and achieve greater results.

“This is a long-term journey. The parties involved need to propose specific actions for each month and work closely with the province’s departments and agencies to develop compelling approaches for each transformation project,” Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Luan said.

Speaking on behalf of FPT, Dr. Le Truong Tung noted that FPT has established a presence across provinces and cities nationwide, particularly in telecommunications, retail, and education. Developing high-quality talent has consistently been one of FPT’s key areas of investment, with the goal of building a workforce capable of addressing Vietnam’s major development challenges.

“FPT has developed a network of K-12 schools from Long An and Hau Giang to Soc Trang. In Ca Mau, FPT hopes to establish a high-quality school with accessible tuition for local families. The curriculum will integrate technology, enabling students to gain early exposure to emerging technologies and develop their individual capabilities. Through this, we hope to contribute to improving the quality of the province’s human resources, serving both Ca Mau and the country,” Dr. Le Truong Tung said.

To advance these areas, the province and businesses will focus on six key initiatives: data repositories; artifact digitization and smart museums; digital wards and communes; research on a nighttime economy development plan; UAV applications; and supply chains for aquaculture and seafood processing, including smart fishing ports.

The Corporation has also organized workshops, seminars, and events on digital and AI transformation for provincial officials and businesses.

FPT is continuing to apply AI to automate the province’s data processing, introduce AI applications in education, and support data management for public officials and employees working in technology-related areas.
