As part of the plan to build a digital government for the period of 2022 - 2025, Bac Giang Department of Information and Communications has recently selected FPT Information System Co., Ltd. (FPT IS - A subsidiary of FPT Corporation) as the partner to build the local data warehouse, based on its deployment capacity and IT quality.
It is one of the critical projects for Bac Giang province from 2022 to 2025. Accordingly, FPT IS will build and deploy a Data Warehouse for Bac Giang with the primarily following objectives:
FPT IS introduced the project's goals, scope, and implementation plan to the Bac Giang Department of Information and CommunicationsFPT IS will deploy five functional modules in Bac Giang in the next three months, including Data Integration, Data Storage, Data Processing and Cleansing, Shared database management and formation, and APIs management and formation.
The project is expected to promote building the digital government in Bac Giang, thereby helping the province realize its goal of being in the top 15 localities with the leading digital transformation index nationwide to bring more practical benefits to the people and society.
In 2021, FPT and Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee signed a cooperation agreement to promote the province's digital transformation within 2021-2025. According to the agreement, FPT will evaluate the overall situation of information technology development in the region and advise on a comprehensive digital transformation strategy to ensure the completion of the set goals. At the same time, FPT will support Bac Giang in developing mechanisms and policies to promote digital transformation. Specifically, the Corporation will help standardize databases, consulting on applying digital solutions in management, operation, and sales for local enterprises. By that means, it will accompany Bac Giang in promoting economic and social growth, increasing competitiveness, strengthening local management, creating new values in different domains, and narrowing the digital gaps.
