FPT's achievement of reaching 1 billion USD in IT service revenue from foreign markets secured a position among the Top 10 notable ICT events in 2023 (Top 10 ICT 2023). This recognition was announced at the ceremony held on December 26.

The selection of the Top 10 ICT 2023 events involves nominations and voting by over 50 ICT journalists representing 43 leading press agencies in Vietnam.

On December 22, FPT proudly unveiled a historic milestone—surpassing 1 billion USD in IT service revenue from foreign markets. This noteworthy achievement positions FPT as the first Vietnamese technology enterprise to reach the billion-dollar mark in revenue from software exports, a testament to Vietnamese prowess on the global stage and a substantial contribution to the overall economic development.

This figure serves as a resounding affirmation of FPT's robust transition to elevated tiers in the technology value chain. Over the past five years, FPT's digital transformation services revenue derived from foreign markets has surged nearly sixfold, constituting 50% of FPT's global IT services revenue. The strategic focus is on cutting-edge technologies, such as the Cloud, which accounts for 40% of digital transformation services revenue, AI and data analysis, 12%, and RPA and Lowcode, 10%.

FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh said the significant milestone underscores the Corporation's pioneering role in showcasing Vietnamese intelligence across five continents. Additionally, Mr. Binh shared that on the journey ahead, FPT continues to harbor the dream of propelling the country to the pinnacle through technology, envisioning a sustainable and joyful future.

At the Top 10 ICT 2023 announcement ceremony, FPT was also spotlighted in the event titled "Many semiconductor corporations opening manufacturing plants in Vietnam." In 2023, Vietnam's semiconductor landscape is poised to become a hub for numerous semiconductor manufacturers, attracting attention and investment from leading global corporations in the US, Korea, and China. These projects encompass investments ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of dollars. In addition to international endeavors, Vietnam boasts several technology units and enterprises, including FPT Semiconductor (a company within FPT's ecosystem) and Viettel, which are engaged in the research, design, and manufacturing of chips. This collective effort positions Vietnam to participate actively in the global semiconductor industry.
