On the afternoon of October 6, the People’s Committee of Ca Mau Province held a Coordination Committee meeting to implement the Cooperation Agreement signed with FPT Corporation on developing science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation for the 2025–2030 period. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ca Mau Province.

Representing FPT Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Chief Executive Officer, attended alongside senior leaders from the Group and its member companies.

The People’s Committee of Ca Mau Province convenes the Coordination Committee meeting with FPT to implement the cooperation framework on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation for 2025–2030.

This event followed the Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement signed between Ca Mau Province and FPT on September 17, 2025, aiming to promote digital transformation, foster science and technology development, encourage innovation, and cultivate high-quality human resources within the province.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh Luan urged departments and sectors to work closely with FPT to align on solutions for optimal implementation.

Under the agreement, FPT will support Ca Mau Province in developing its Resolution, Action Program, and Digital Transformation Plan for 2026–2030, ensuring alignment with national directives and adaptation to local realities. The Group will collaborate with provincial departments to translate these goals into annual tasks and projects, prioritizing areas of local strength such as digital infrastructure, digital government, digital data, citizen and enterprise digital applications, as well as digital transformation in key sectors.

FPT CEO Nguyen Van Khoa shared: “FPT will participate in developing digital platforms, data ecosystems, digital government, digital economy, and digital society in Ca Mau. In addition, FPT will support digital literacy programs for commune and ward-level officials and organize training courses to enhance management and operational capacity for provincial leaders and key personnel.”

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, CEO of FPT Corporation, outlines the roadmap and execution plan to ensure effective implementation.

On the provincial side, departments and sectors will coordinate and facilitate FPT Education Organization in investing in a multi-level school system (Primary, Secondary, and High School) and vocational education institutions (basic, intermediate, and college levels). This investment is expected to lay the foundation for a modern educational and training ecosystem, attracting researchers, lecturers, students, and IT experts — thereby driving scientific and technological advancement and innovation across the province.

The Ca Mau People’s Committee will allocate state budget funds according to its decentralization mechanism, integrate relevant programs, and mobilize legal funding sources to ensure the effective implementation of the cooperation initiatives.
