FPT recently held a meeting with senior representatives of Toyota Tsusho NEXTY Electronics, further advancing discussions on potential business cooperation in the semiconductor industry.
Toyota Tsusho Corporation is one of Japan’s leading general trading companies (sogo shosha) and a member of Toyota Group, generating approximately USD 78 billion in annual revenue. The company operates globally across the automotive, semiconductor and electronics, energy, materials, and supply chain sectors. NEXTY Electronics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation, specializes in electronics and semiconductor distribution.
The meeting, held in early October, was attended by Mr. Takeo Murata, Managing Director for ASEAN and India and President of Toyota Tsusho NEXTY Electronics Thailand; Mr. Masahide Isono, President of Toyota Tsusho NEXTY Electronics Singapore; and representatives of Toyota Tsusho Vietnam.

The meeting followed initial discussions on August 19, when FPT, Toyota Tsusho Vietnam, and Toyota Tsusho NEXTY Electronics Singapore explored potential cooperation in semiconductor business development.
During the meeting, Mr. Takeo Murata expressed optimism about the prospects for cooperation between the two companies. He also emphasized that Toyota Tsusho NEXTY Electronics’ extensive customer network across ASEAN and India provides a strong foundation for identifying and developing new semiconductor business opportunities.
FPT and Toyota Tsusho NEXTY Electronics agreed to continue exploring cooperation in several areas, including the regional distribution of Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs) and Power ICs.

The meeting marks another step forward in strengthening relationships among FPT, Toyota Tsusho Vietnam, and NEXTY Electronics, paving the way for expanded cooperation in the semiconductor industry.
