Ahead of the new school year, students in Nhon Hoa Lap Commune, Tay Ninh Province, have welcomed “triple joy”: a new bridge providing a safer route to school, a freshly renovated school campus, and a new digital library, along with hundreds of gifts to support them as they return to class.
A Safer Journey to School on a New Bridge
In Nhon Hoa Lap Commune, where canals crisscross the area, makeshift bridges have long been a familiar part of students’ daily journeys to school. Over the years, the old bridge had deteriorated significantly, with its narrow surface cracked and broken in places, exposing rusted steel reinforcement.
During the rainy and flood season, the slippery bridge became a constant concern for parents whose children relied on it to get to school. In response, FPT, through the Hope Foundation, contributed to the construction of a new bridge, helping local residents and students travel more safely and conveniently.

Measuring 27 meters long and 3.5 meters wide, the bridge was built in part with contributions from FPT employees through the Corporation’s annual one-day salary donation initiative.
Beyond providing safer transportation, the new bridge also strengthens connectivity between residential areas and facilitates the transportation of goods and agricultural products.
Hope Bridge 451 in Nhon Hoa Lap Commune was recently inaugurated.According to Mr. Le Van Nhan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nhon Hoa Lap Commune, the new bridge has addressed a transportation bottleneck that had persisted for more than a decade, hindering local residents’ access to essential healthcare services as well as the transportation of supplies, goods, and agricultural products. With the new bridge in place, more than 300 students from local primary, secondary, and high schools who cross it each day now have a safer route to school.
Hope Bridge 451 was not the only new connection celebrated that day. In Dong Thap Province, construction officially began on Hope Bridge 466, which will replace Kinh Tu 2 Bridge in Lap Vo Commune. Meanwhile, FPT employees joined local authorities to inaugurate Hope Bridge 455 in Tan Phu Trung Commune and Hope Bridge 453 in Phong Hoa Commune.

She expressed her hope that the bridges would be well maintained and continue creating lasting value for local communities, allowing the positive impact associated with FPT to spread even further.
Multiplying the Joy of Going Back to School
Ahead of the new school year, students in Nhon Hoa Lap Commune received another reason to celebrate as the local secondary school was given a fresh new look through the “New Look for My School” project.
Funded by contributions from FPT employees, the school was repainted and its surroundings improved, creating a more welcoming environment for students returning to class. Beyond upgrading the facilities, these improvements have also brought renewed energy and excitement to teachers and students as they begin the new academic year.

At Nhon Hoa Lap Primary School, FPT, through the Hope Foundation and its partners, donated a digital library, providing students with additional learning resources and digital learning tools.
Alongside traditional books, students now have access to digital resources that allow them to search for information, explore new knowledge, and gradually become familiar with technology right at school. The digital library therefore helps expand access to new learning methods for students in an area where educational resources remain limited.
FPT presents students with new backpacks and gifts to support them as they return to school.On this occasion, FPT also presented 148 gifts to local children, providing encouragement and support as the first day of the new school year approaches.
These successive moments of joy reflect a long-standing goal shared by FPT and the Hope Foundation: placing education at the heart of their community initiatives. To date, 466 Hope Bridges have been built, more than 200 schools have been given a “new look,” and over 120 digital libraries have been installed at schools across Vietnam.
