FPT Donates Nine Digital Libraries and AI Learning Accounts to All Students in Dien Bien

On September 5, as Dien Bien Province welcomed the new academic year, FPT donated nine digital libraries and AI learning accounts to all students across the province, helping bring knowledge and technology closer to students, particularly those in border areas.

The donation ceremony was held at Thanh Nua Primary and Secondary Boarding School in Thanh Nua Commune, Dien Bien Province, as part of the new academic year celebrations. FPT donated nine digital libraries to nine boarding schools in border areas across the province, with a total value of nearly VND 1 billion.

In addition to the digital libraries, FPT provided artificial intelligence (AI) learning accounts to all students in Dien Bien Province. Developed by FPT Education, the online learning program gives students greater access to knowledge and skills related to one of the most important technologies of the digital era.

Representing the recipient schools, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hong, Principal of Thanh Nua Primary and Secondary Boarding School, said the digital libraries and AI learning accounts provide practical learning resources that give students greater opportunities to access knowledge, technology, and new learning methods. As Thanh Nua is a newly established school serving students in a border area, these resources will provide opportunities for students to become familiar with AI, explore its potential, and gradually develop the skills to use AI and technology in their studies.

Ms. Tran Thi Bich Hang, Chairwoman of the Technology Council of FPT Schools, said the learning materials were developed by FPT’s education experts in line with international standards, using examples and scenarios relevant to students’ everyday lives.

The curriculum provides a continuous learning pathway spanning all 12 years of general education. Students progress from understanding what AI is to training their own models, programming AI applications, and working with data using programming languages. Importantly, ethics and responsibility in the use of AI are introduced from the very first lessons and embedded throughout the entire curriculum.

“We want every student in Dien Bien, whether they live in the city or in remote highland communities, to have equal opportunities to access AI. Our goal is for students not only to use AI, but also to understand it, master it, and apply it to solve challenges in their own communities,” Ms. Hang said.

By providing both digital learning infrastructure and AI education, FPT is contributing to the implementation of Politburo Resolution No. 71 on breakthroughs in education and training development. Through this initiative, FPT aims to strengthen students’ STEM capabilities and AI knowledge and skills, while helping narrow the digital education gap, particularly for students in border areas.
