With VND 11.291 trillion contributed to the State budget in 2025, up 22% year-on-year, FPT ranked first among private technology companies in tax contributions and seventh in PRIVATE 100 – the 2026 ranking of Vietnam’s 100 largest private-sector taxpayers.
FPT’s position is particularly noteworthy given that the Corporation operates primarily in technology – a knowledge-intensive industry driven by highly skilled talent and capable of generating significant revenue from international markets.
CafeF recently released PRIVATE 100 2026, its ranking of Vietnam’s 100 largest private-sector taxpayers, based on actual contributions made during the 2025 fiscal year.

Business Growth Lays the Foundation for Long-Term Contributions
FPT continued to maintain double-digit growth. During the first half of the year, FPT secured 14 projects valued at more than USD 10 million each, while newly signed revenue from Global IT Services increased 32.3% year-on-year.
FPT currently serves more than 1,100 customers worldwide, including over 130 Fortune 500 companies. Alongside its expanding business scale, the Corporation is accelerating its transformation from an IT services provider into a technology innovation company, with mastery of core technologies serving as the foundation for its next growth cycle.
From IT Services to Mastering Strategic Technologies
Under FPT’s development strategy for 2026–2028, the Corporation is investing in and progressively building capabilities across strategic technology areas, including AI, Quantum AI & Cybersecurity, UAVs, railway technology, cybersecurity, and data.
AI, in particular, is positioned as a cross-cutting capability spanning solution design, product development, and operations. In August 2026, FPT became an OpenAI Select Partner, enabling the two companies to support organizations and enterprises in building, deploying, and scaling AI solutions. Also in August, FPT expanded its partnership with Mila, a leading AI research institute based in Canada, to advance AI research, develop high-quality talent, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
In the UAV sector, FPT and South Korea’s NARMA Inc. recently announced a partnership to research, develop, and commercialize next-generation UAVs. The initial focus is on developing AI technologies and autonomous software for the AF100, an electric tilt-rotor drone developed by NARMA. Earlier, in April 2026, FPT and Truong Thinh Drone piloted UAV-based fertilizer spraying for coffee farms in Muong Ang, Dien Bien, reducing spraying time from approximately four hours to just 10 minutes per hectare and expanding the potential applications of UAVs in agriculture and the low-altitude economy.
In quantum technology, FPT has established the Quantum AI & Cybersecurity Institute, with targets to train 100 PhD holders, develop 2,000 highly skilled technology experts, and produce 500 scientific publications, patents, and other valuable intellectual property assets. The initiative forms part of FPT’s long-term strategy to build research capabilities and a highly skilled workforce in core and strategic technologies.
