FPT Japan in Nagoya officially opened a new office space on September 28, providing additional workspace for teams in Nagoya and across the Chubu region.
The opening began with a traditional Vietnamese ceremony. FPT employees in Nagoya shared wishes for a new workplace where people can settle in, thrive in their careers, attract talent, and create prosperity, while looking forward to smooth operations, stronger customer trust, and greater team unity in the next stage of growth.
The new office covers approximately 815 square meters and features 174 workstations, four ODC rooms, two meeting rooms, six meeting booths, as well as dedicated workspaces and common areas. The flexible layout combines focused work areas with spaces for meetings, discussions, and team collaboration.
The FPT Automotive team in Nagoya has already moved into the new office. Going forward, the space will accommodate additional project teams and ODCs as FPT expands operations and launches more projects in Nagoya.
Workspace at FPT Nagoya.Nagoya is one of Japan’s major automotive hubs. This inspired the team to choose “AUTOMOTIVE CIRCLE IN MOTION” as the concept for the new office.
The circle draws inspiration from the wheel, a familiar symbol of the automotive industry. A wheel creates value only when it is in motion. “Circle in Motion” therefore represents the continuous movement and evolution of technology, people, and business.
The concept is reflected throughout the office through circular forms, round lighting fixtures, curved design elements, and collaboration areas. These features create visual connections across different spaces while evoking the image of circles continuously in motion.
Together with the Lucent office, the two locations now provide approximately 300 workstations in Nagoya. This additional capacity lays the groundwork for FPT to continue expanding the workforce, scaling ODCs, and delivering more projects in the region.
Bringing project teams and ODCs together in shared workspaces also creates more opportunities for business, delivery, and specialized teams to collaborate directly. Faster communication and easier knowledge sharing can help teams improve project execution and customer engagement.
From a small team, FPT in Nagoya has steadily expanded the workforce, customer base, delivery capabilities, and business scale. The new office therefore not only addresses current workspace needs but also creates additional capacity for teams and projects to grow in the years ahead.
From nearly 400 employees today, FPT Nagoya is aiming to grow the workforce to 1,000. Reaching this milestone will require many more projects, customers, and new colleagues along the way.
At the opening, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan, Director of FPT Nagoya, shared his wishes for the new workplace: “May our new home always be full of energy, laughter, customers, and projects. Hopefully, it will not be long before the 300 seats we have today are simply… no longer enough!”
FPT Japan currently has 17 offices and more than 5,500 employees. FPT Corporation aims to achieve USD 1 billion in revenue from the Japanese market by 2027 and become a symbol of global technology cooperation.
