FPT partnered with the Department of Social Assistance under the Ministry of Health to organize a training program titled “AI Awareness and Applications in the Workplace,” attended by more than 30 officials and public employees. The program is part of the Ministry of Health’s action plan to implement the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57, focusing on how to identify, use, and manage AI in the Department’s day-to-day operations.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Duong, Deputy Director General of the Department of Social Assistance, emphasized the role of information technology and AI in policymaking and improving the effectiveness of public administration. She expressed hope that the program would equip officials and public employees with the knowledge and skills needed to apply AI in their daily work while ensuring safe use.

Drawing on FPT’s experience in deploying AI solutions at the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance, and Supreme People’s Court, FPT aims to work with the Department to identify suitable use cases and integrate AI into daily operations in a practical, effective, and secure manner.
The program was designed to emphasize hands-on learning and address specific operational needs. FPT will continue providing professional and technical support as the Department explores and pilots AI applications.
FPT experts participating in the program included Mr. Pham Quang Nhat Minh, Director of the AI Research and Development Center (FPT IS AI R&D), FPT Corporation, and Mr. Vo Ta Nhat Anh, AI Expert at the Production Management Division (FPT IS DD BOM), FPT Corporation. They directly engaged with participants and provided guidance on using AI tools and evaluating AI-generated outputs.
During the discussion, officials and public employees from the Department of Social Assistance shared their experiences using popular AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini. While AI was recognized for the significant support it can provide in research, information synthesis, and task processing, participants also highlighted challenges in formulating effective prompts and verifying outputs.
Many users reported receiving responses that did not adequately address their requests, having to revise prompts repeatedly, or encountering inconsistent information.
Mr. Pham Thanh Tung, Director of the Healthcare Business Unit, represents FPT at the training program.According to Mr. Pham Quang Nhat Minh, these issues can be associated with AI hallucinations, in which AI generates inaccurate, fabricated, or unsupported information while presenting it as fact. Identifying and verifying such information is particularly important in work involving documents, data, and policy advisory activities.
The FPT expert emphasized the importance of both input and output when working with AI. Clear prompts and sufficient context help AI process requests more accurately. At the same time, users must apply their professional expertise to review and cross-check information before putting AI-generated results to use.
Building on the issues raised during the discussion, Mr. Vo Ta Nhat Anh guided participants through hands-on exercises with several AI tools, focusing on incorporating real documents and operational challenges into AI interactions.
Demonstrating the technology’s processing speed, an AI tool was able to help generate a draft framework of nearly 30 pages containing 39 articles after approximately 10 minutes of prompt configuration and data input. The draft followed the required format and margin specifications for state administrative documents.
Alongside effective AI use, the program emphasized information security and data protection. FPT experts encouraged participants to maintain a critical mindset, avoid assuming that AI-generated outputs are accurate, and verify sources before using the information in their work.
Participants were also advised on account and data management when using AI tools, including limiting shared-account use and avoiding the input of internal data into unauthorized tools. For content involving inference or speculation, users can ask AI to provide sources or flag uncertain information to facilitate verification.
