Ms. Nguyen Bach Diep joined FPT as an intern in 1994 and steadily advanced throughout her career, playing an integral role in the establishment and development of FPT Retail, FPT Corporation.

In the profile recognizing Ms. Diep, Fortune particularly highlighted her role in developing FPT Long Chau into the primary growth engine of FPT Retail, contributing nearly 70% of the company’s revenue in 2025. Fortune also noted her cautious outlook amid market volatility, as pricing pressures and geopolitical tensions affect consumer spending on new technology products.

Building on a foundation in technology retail, FPT Retail has gradually expanded into healthcare, establishing two key business pillars: FPT Shop and Long Chau. This transformation has not only created new growth opportunities for the company but also brought FPT Retail closer to the essential needs of consumers.

Long Chau currently operates more than 2,700 pharmacies and over 240 vaccination centers across 34 provinces and cities, supported by a team of more than 22,000 healthcare professionals. The network has progressively become a trusted healthcare partner for more than 36 million customers, equivalent to over one-third of Vietnam’s population.

The company continues to advance technology adoption through digital healthcare solutions and the Digital Citizen Station model, implemented in collaboration with the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention (C06) under Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security, Ho Chi Minh City Police, and other organizations.

Through the “Long Chau Se Chia” initiative, Long Chau has also implemented community healthcare programs across multiple localities, including health screenings, vaccination programs, and first-aid initiatives, helping make healthcare services more accessible to the public.

Alongside Long Chau, FPT Shop continues to improve operational efficiency, optimize the product portfolio, and expand product categories and services in response to market demand.

In the first six months of 2026, FPT Retail recorded revenue of VND 30.743 trillion, up 33% year on year, while profit before tax reached VND 1.038 trillion, an increase of 117%. Long Chau generated VND 21.448 trillion in revenue, up 33%, while FPT Shop recorded VND 9.387 trillion, up 32%.

From more than three decades with FPT to nearly a decade as Chairwoman of FPT Retail, Ms. Nguyen Bach Diep has guided the company through multiple stages of transformation.
