On the evening of October 6 in Jakarta, Indonesia, FPT Corporation was recognized by the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) in three AI award categories: AI in Human Resources & Future Skills, AI in Financial Services, and AI in Healthcare.
The ASOCIO Digital & AI Awards recognize organizations across Asia and Oceania whose AI initiatives deliver tangible impact for businesses, governments, and society. In 2026, the awards featured eight AI categories spanning cybersecurity, education, healthcare, financial services, smart agriculture, workforce development, and supply chains, with 72 organizations from 15 economies participating.
According to the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA), ASOCIO’s member association in Vietnam, FPT was the only Vietnamese nominee to receive an award in each of the three categories: AI in Human Resources & Future Skills, AI in Financial Services, and AI in Healthcare.
The awards ceremony took place as part of the ASOCIO AI & Digital Summit 2026, held from October 4 to 8 and hosted by the Indonesian ICT Business Association (APTIKNAS). The summit brought together hundreds of delegates from 24 economies across Asia and Oceania.
In the AI in Human Resources & Future Skills category, FPT was recognized for efforts and achievements in strengthening the AI capabilities of FPT’s technology workforce and expanding access to AI skills across the wider community.
Across FPT’s education system, students are introduced to AI from Grade 1 through curricula designed for each level of education. At the university level, more than 2,800 FPT University students are pursuing specialized AI studies, with access to supercomputing infrastructure and opportunities to participate in research from their first year.
In teaching and learning, the EduNext flipped-classroom platform integrates AI-powered teaching assistance, while AI is used in a guided and controlled manner to encourage students to take a more active role in learning. For the wider community, the AI-integrated VioEdu online learning platform serves more than 20 million users, including over 10 million students.
For employees, FPT believes that mastering AI must begin with people and internal operations. FPT has implemented AI training and upskilling programs, with 98% of employees receiving training to strengthen their AI knowledge and skills, while more than 1,000 AI Agents are used to support daily operations.
In parallel, FPT encourages employees to participate in AI research and development. Hundreds of AI research papers involving FPT professionals have been published at leading international scientific conferences, while several FPT AI-related technologies have been granted patents in Japan and the United States. FPT’s collaboration program with Mila, one of the world’s leading AI research institutes, has trained 80 young researchers and resulted in five accepted patents.
Building on these capabilities, FPT has developed AI products and platforms for the market, including FPT.AI, FPT AI Agents, FPT AI eKYC, CodeVista, IvyHub, and FleziPT.
FPT receives the AI in Human Resources & Future Skills award in recognition of efforts and achievements in strengthening the AI capabilities of FPT’s technology workforce and expanding AI skills across the community.
In the AI in Financial Services category, FPT was honored for an ecosystem of solutions addressing critical industry challenges, from process digitalization and operational optimization to enhancing customer experience.
The ecosystem builds on FPT’s 30 years of experience supporting digital transformation in the finance and banking sectors, including the development and operation of mission-critical systems in taxation, treasury, customs, and securities. Across this ecosystem, FPT integrates AI throughout the financial services value chain, from operations, customer interactions, and transaction processing to trade finance and identity verification, while meeting international standards for deployment across multiple markets.
In customer service, the FPT.AI platform operates 8,220 AI Agents, handling approximately 180 million interactions per month for more than 200 enterprises across 15 countries, including leading Vietnamese banks such as Vietcombank, BIDV, VPBank, and TPBank.
In operations, the akaBot platform automates manual tasks, reducing processing time by up to 80%, lowering costs, and minimizing data errors. Kyta Platform combines AI with low-code/no-code technology to digitalize the entire electronic contracting lifecycle for more than 5,500 organizations. Meanwhile, TradeFlat, a platform for digitalizing trade finance and supply chain finance operations, is used by leading banks including BIDV, VPBank, Techcombank, and TPBank.
For identity verification, FPT eID has passed Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) Level 2 testing under the international ISO/IEC 30107-3 standard, as evaluated by iBeta, demonstrating the solution’s ability to detect and prevent facial biometric spoofing attacks.
FPT is recognized by ASOCIO in the AI in Financial Services category for an ecosystem of solutions addressing critical industry challenges, from process digitalization and operational optimization to enhancing customer experience.
In the AI in Healthcare category, FPT was recognized for the MediSight and iSuite ecosystems.
MediSight addresses the challenge of fragmented healthcare data by connecting data according to international standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM. Data is standardized and anonymized before analysis, enabling AI Agents and digital workers to support administrative, clinical, and compliance-related processes.
By integrating with existing systems rather than requiring complete replacement, the platform helps hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device companies reduce manual workloads and accelerate decision-making. MediSight is currently deployed across global digital healthcare platforms, supporting more than 3 million users annually.
In the insurance sector, iSuite combines AI, optical character recognition (OCR), and process automation, enabling insurers to manage operations through a unified platform. The platform is currently deployed by enterprises in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and the United States.
FPT is recognized in the AI in Healthcare category for the MediSight and iSuite ecosystems.
At the same awards ceremony, Vietnam’s Ministry of Justice received the Digital Government Award for outstanding achievements in applying digital technologies, big data, and AI to modernize legislative development and law enforcement, advancing intelligent legal governance.
FPT is honored to have supported the Ministry of Justice on this journey through the implementation of technology systems including the National Legal Database; a solution supporting the drafting of legal normative documents; a system supporting the comprehensive review of legal normative documents; the Vietnam Digital Legal Platform; and the new version of the National Legal Portal.
FPT has also contributed to the development of the projects “Building a Legal Big Data Database” and “Applying Artificial Intelligence in Legislative Development and Law Enforcement.”
