FPT Software possess leading human resource pool in ASEAN
Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) announced that FPT Software was named in Vietnam’s 30 Leading ICT Companies 2014 at the event held on October 27th.

The program aimed to select Vietnam's 30 leading ICT companies in 2014 in two areas of Software Packaging and BPO/Outsourcing/Offshore in order to introduce and spread them to potential customers and partners in nearly 100 countries and territories. This was a preparation program for Vietnam ASOCIO ICT Summit 2014 held in Hanoi and Danang from October 28 to 31.
The voting council, which consisted of 17 members, was chaired by Former Standing Deputy Minister of Ministry of Post and Telecommunication of Vietnam. The council appointed 5 teams to visit the selected firms for inspection and verification.
"These selected businesses are not the biggest but leading one in their market segment with ability to compete with foreign enterprises, good strategies and prospects to reach out to the world," said Dr. Mai Liem Truc.
According to the announcement, in 2013, the 30 firms used 15,000 highly skilled knowledge employees, generating more than USD 300 million in total revenue. Many were successfully operating in large markets such as Japan, Europe, the U.S., helping enhance Vietnam’s image in the world’s IT industry. Especially, sine 2012 Vietnam has overcome India to become the second largest outsourcing partner of Japan.
According to VINASA’s report, some companies such as FPT Software and TMA Solutions possessed leading human resource pools in Southeast Asia with high quality and became partners of giants in the world (FPT Software: USD 101 million in revenues and 6,000 employees; TMA: USD 27 million in revenue and 1,700 employees).
In order to introduce 30 firms to the world, VINASA published a special brochure named "Vietnam's 30 Leading ICT Companies in 2014" in English and Japanese, including 8,000 copies and its version available in the Internet. In the framework of Vietnam - ASOCIO ICT Summit 2014, 30 IT companies in Vietnam were introduced to international delegates from nearly 20 countries and territories.
