Successful activation of CRS-1 for Vinaphone project
Afternoon 4th November, Mai Tien Dzung of FPT Infrastructure Center (FIS-INF), who is in charge of project implementation in the Vinaphone Da Nang center, became the first Vietnamese technician to successfully activate the CRS-1 device for the project " P.Router and Border Gateway System for Vinaphone network in the areas of Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

CRS-1 is the most advanced line of Cisco routers, the activation of which requires strict compliance with absolutely careful and accurate procedure. This is the first time CRS-1 has been deployed in FIS in particular and Vietnam in general. There have never been a Vietnamese technician, who has experience on this device.
The successful activation of CRS-1 has marked the turning point of FIS expertise to master such a new technology.
