"Widget N97 Challenge" for Vietnamese programmers
The "Widget N97 Challenge" Contest were organized by Nokia, Visky Technology Group and the financial corporation - IDG Vietnam, with the content of transforming users’ ideas into real applications on the Nokia N97 operating system, on the basis of the programming languages Nokia web Runtime, XHTML, CSS, Jaca Script, AJAX. The winning Widget will be widely popularized on Ovi store for millions of N97 users.

"Vietnam has a great number of good programmers with the average annual growth rate of 30-40%. The "Widget N97 Challenge" Contest is a chance for them to show their talents and creativity, as well as introducing to users opportunities of experiencing practical utilities on Ovi store”, said Mr. Benoit Nalin – CEO of Nokia Vietnam.

The "Widget N97 Challenge" Contest is a chance for Nokia to optimize utilities on Ovi store, to maximumly exploit the utilities of Nokia N97, considerably contributing to the connection of people with the world.
Start the creativity with the "Widget N97 Challenge":
- Choose an idea that you think to be the most original and convenient for users. Then log in Nokia Forum to download all the supporting tools and data for your programming.
- Create utilities and ending widget for your product which can run on Nokia N97.
- Send your product to the organization board before September 30, 2009.
Attractive prizes for the winners
The winning widgets and utilities will be awarded in November 2009 and will be popularized on Ovi store for millions of users all over the world. The mobile computer phone N97 will be given to three best appliers with prizes in cash:
- First prize: 3000 USD
- Second prize: 2000 USD
- Third prize: 1000 USD
In addition, Nokia will also award seven 300-USD encouraging prizes to the rest 7 appliers getting into the final top-ten round. All these applications will have a chance to be widely popularized on Ovi store for Nokia users.
