10 years of FPT Quality System
The year 2009 has marked 10 years of operation of FPT Quality System. FPT Quality Assurance Department (FQA) has decided to choose September 09 as the FPT Quality Day.

The 10-year summarizing meeting of FPT Corporation in September 1998 decided to apply the globalization strategy, starting by exporting softwares. This decision led to the next duty, which was establishing FPT management system based on the international standard ISO 9001 to set up an advanced management system.
The one who was in charge of realizing this duty was Mr. Le The Hung, currently Vice General Director of FPT Software.
With strong determination, Mr. Le The Hung presided over the designation and establishment of the whole FPT quality management system one year later.
FPT was granted a certificate by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI), now Bureau Veritas Certification (BVC), for the first time in January 2000.
September 09, 1999 was the date when the first version of FPT Quality Handbook was introduced.
After the formation period (1999-2000) and the system perfection period (2001-2003), FPT Quality System entered into the total quality period (2004-2006) and the corporation management period (2007-2008).
During the past years, FPT quality management system has continuously innovated to perfect itself. The year 2009 has started an important period with constant improvement to reach the international level (2009-2011).
The selection of international management standards has become a management feature of FPT.
FPT annually organizes activities to raise FPT’s staff’s awareness of the quality path that it has chosen and has been following.
In this year, FPT Quality Assurance Department(FQA) will carry out a series of programmes. In addition to the announcement of FPT Quality Day (September 09), FQA has also designed a logo of 10 years of FPT Quality; organized communication and professional activities to commemorate 10 years of FPT Quality.

- Blue is a basic colour of FPT’s logo, which symbolizes perfect quality;
- 3/4 of the letter Q is the abbreviation of Quality, also the stylization of the letter X (in the Roman numeral system, X = 10 years).
