98% of FPT staff is young

According to data from FPT Human Resources Committee, the total number of FPT staff is 23,381 people by the end of April. Ratio of age groups as follows: 24.3% under 25; 47.1% from 25 to 30; 26.4% from 31 to 40; 2.2% from 41 to 50; and only 0.6% over 50.

FPT Software tops the list with 8,106 people. FPT Telecom and FPT Retail grab the next two spots with 5,423 people and 3,870 people respectively. The remaining rankings belong to FIS - 2961; FPT Trading - 1,309; Education block - 909; FPT Online - 417; FPT HO - 195; Sendo - 124; FPT Asia - Pacific (FAPAC) - 14 and FPT Myanmar – 10.

Among member companies, FPT Software has the most employees. This company is still in demand for more staff. It is expected to employ 4,000 people in 2015.

In 2014, FPT had employed more 4,597 employees, an increase of 26.39% compared to 2013. As of 31 December 2014, the total number of FPT employees is 22, 016 people working in 19 countries around the world.The number of male staff still dominates over the number of female one, respectively 13,855 persons versus 8,161 persons (approximately 1.7 times).

FPT also has nearly 700 foreign employees, many of whom are from FPT Slovakia after the M&A deal FPT in June 2014.

This year, FPT planned to employ about 7,000 people. FPT Software needs to hire 4,000 employees, 500-1,000 of whom serve the development of S.M.A.C-based services.

In the general ranking by Universum on April 21st, FPT named among Top10 ideal employers, up 11 spaces compared with the 2014 ranking. FPT is the only technology company of Vietnam to be listed among top 10, besides the two giants in the world including Samsung and Google.

Earlier, late December 2014, FPT Corporation won two categories: the best workplace environment and training and human capital management at Vietnam HR Awards 2014 held for the first time. Also in December 2014, FPT named among Top 5 popular employers in Vietnam, according to a survey by JobStreet.
