Ticktacktoe Competition Rules
- Compete on paper
- Use ball point pen or fountain pen
- Toss a coin to decide who moves first. The person moving first uses mark X
- Every move lasts at most 20 seconds and the maximum time for each game is 25 minutes. Any game lasting over 25 minutes is declared a draw
- The first player’s second move must be one 3x3 square distant from the first move. In the following example, the person who moves first ticks X, so the second X he or she ticks should be outside of the colored area.
- Each competitor can choose his or her moves, but is not allowed to change his or her decision after the move has been taken, regardless of any agreement from the opposition. For each turn, the competitor can take only one move.
- A competitor is declared the winner when:
7.1 His or her moves are arranged into five or more successive characters in width or in length or in a diagonal line.
7.2 His or her opposition withdraws from the game or gives in.
7.3 His or her rival spends more time than allowed on a move. (See section 4)
- The winner must obey all competition rules. Victory does not depend on whether he or she moves first or second.
- Decisions by the referees or the Organization Board are final.
- The form of the competition applied depends on the number of competitors. Details are as follows:
10.1 Round competition, divided into tables. Two competitors compete in three games
10.2 Competition in the form of the Swiss system.
10.3 Trial heats from the first to the final round.

“Go” competition rules
- Competitors
FPT current members (the number of candidates must be even and less than or equal to 24)
- Marking
- The two competitors draw lots to choose the chess colors: black moves first, white second, with komi 5.5 (the mark added to the competitor who moves second)
- The result is defined in accordance with the difference between the two competitor’s points in each game. For example, A gains 20.5 points if he wins 20.5 in the game with B, while B receives minus 20.5 points.
- Rankings are considered based on the points of the winner and loser of each game.
