Acceptance of SAP ERP Project for Pomina Viet Steel
Hanoi, morning 25 May - the Project on SAP ERP implementation conducted by FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS for short) for Pomina- Steel Mill was officially announced accept ed by Vietsteel Corporation. The acceptance ceremony was attended by leaders of FPT IS, SAP, Viet Steel, members of the project team and enterprise representatives in Ho Chi Minh City.

Being one of the large-scale projects implemented by FPT IS, this project is considered one of the three strategic targets set for competition and development by Pomina Viet Steel, namely: management, production and human resources. Unlike other enterprises who considered the solution a new experience and try, Pomina Viet Steel started the deployment with the core modules at the first place ( they include administration of financial business procedures, consolidated financial statements, sales and production) then continue d to expand subsystems such as: project management, equipment maintenance, construction management, information system of report and analysis for leaders and among others.
"F PT IS has involved high-quality resources in both the North and the South to study and find out the appropriate solution for Viet Steel as well as co operated with experts in the industry , especially SAP, to ensure the stability and development for the whole system of Pomina Viet Steel", said Mr. Duong Dung Trieu, CEO of FPT IS.
The success of the project has partially affirmed FPT IS’s leading position in implement ation of ERP solutions for special sectors of the economy.
