An FPT University graduate receives scholarship worth US$80,000
Hanoi, September 13- Duong Van Hop, a fresh graduate from FPT University officially got the US$ 80,000 scholarship from senior leaders of the Panasonic Group of Japan.

He is the youngest out of three winners of Panasonic ’ s full scholarship for a Master course in Japan.

At the scholarship present at ion, Hop share d that his success is attributed to good command of foreign language, self-confidence and professional skills that he has gained during his studying process at FPT University. Hop has proven himself the most suitable owner of this scholarship.
Commenting on Hop’s ability, Mr. Shinichi Wakita, General Director of Panasonic Vietnam Company Limited said: “The judges highly appreciated the feasibility and positive effects that Hop’s project may have on the socio-economy of Vietnam”.
Duong Van Hop will depart for Japan next April to study Information & Communication Engineering at the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo in three years.
The Panasonic scholarship sponsors a Japan-based Master course for excellent candidates in the field of science and technology. Each scholarship worth US$ 80,000.
To win this scholarship, Duong Van Hop had to pass through strict selection process judged by representatives from Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, Vietnam ese M inistry of E ducation and T raining, Panasonic scholarship department in Japan, and Panasonic Vietnam and compete with a large number of outstanding candidates throughout the nation.
