Ngo Ngoc Tuan, a 3rd-year student at FPT University, with good capacity in professional knowledge and English, has successfully overcome three interview rounds of the American company Neopost to be chosen to participate in a big project in the U.S.A.

After three interview rounds of Neopost Corporation in English, among which two were with French clients and one was with one American client, Tuan had proved his self-confidence, good professional capacity as well as the ability to use communicative English well.
Neopost’s representative said: "We know Tuan is a novice. But with his self-confidence in using English and his professional capacity, we believe we can cooperate with him in the long term."
According to FPT University, despite being a 3rd-year student, Ngo Ngoc Tuan has participated in building and being responsible for the technical issues of two FPT University’s websites: www.svfpt.net and http://fpt.edu.vn .
Ngo Ngoc Tuan had the opportunity when he was training within the “on-the-job-training” programme – a compulsory one-year training programme for FPT University’s students at FPT Software Company.
Knowing that the client Neopost needed an employee to maintain and develop transport management systems with the requirements of being able to use PHP and communicative English well, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huy - Vice-Director of No.10 Software Production Centre (FPT Software Corporation) – sent an e-mail to the FPT University’s students training there informing this news, and Tuan had replied.
In the talk with the interviewers of “We” – an internal journal of FPT, Tuan confidently said: “A soldier can only be really experienced when he comes to the battle. In my experience, even when you are a student, you should find your love for a certain technology and invest into it. Find free-lance projects and participate in them. That’s is a good way to practise the technology you are interested in. By doing so, you can earn money and practise your professional working style at the same time.
On April 04, Ngo Ngoc Tuan had finished necessary procedures and officially flew to the U.S.A. to directly work with the client Neopost as a programmer of FPT Software Company.
