Appointing Vice Rector of FPT University
Chairman of FPT signed a decision to appoint Phan Phuong Dat as Vice Rector of FPT University. Accordingly, he would be in charge of the position in May.

This appointment follows the “FPT’s senior leadership rotation” program released by FPT in March 2014. Accordingly, FPT senior management will be rotated among the group’s business lines to gain various experience and to improve their leadership and management capabilities.
Mr. Phan Phuong Dat, who was born in 1971, graduated in 1999 from Mathematics and Cybernetics, Moldova State University, Russian Federation. Later, he defended his Ph.D. thesis in Mathematics at the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in 1999.
Joining FPT in 1998 when the Corp started software export strategy, he was one of the first to build the methodical HR system of FPT Software and FPT.
He also held many positions in FPT such as Manager of FPT Young Talent Center (2013); Deputy General Director of FPT Software in charge of Human Resources and Community (2009-2012); Head of HR Department of FPT (2007-2009).
Earlier, on April 28, Mr. Duong Dung Trieu was appointed as Vice General Director of Global Expansion and Mr. Nguyen Khac Thanh as Vice General Director of Global Human Resources.
