Artillery Command hand over 5 hectares of land to FPT University
In the morning of October 2, Representative of the Artillery Command Major-General Nguyen Van Con handed over 5 hectares of land to FPT University (FU) for the 2nd phase of construction in the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park (Hanoi).

FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh, General Director of FPT Hoa Lac Nguyen Van Loc, FU vice Dean Nguyen Viet Thang and Deputy Director of Planning and Environment of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Nguyen Van Cuong attended the handover.
Major-General Nguyen Van Con announced the opinion of the Ministry of Defence pursuant to the clearance guidance for Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park by the Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan. Accordingly, the Artillery Command temporarily handed over 5 hectares of land in control of division of Professional Engineering and 371st Battalion/AC in the planning of the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park located in Thach Hoa Commune, Thach That district (Hanoi) to the Management Board of Hoa Lac for 2rd phase of construction of FPT University.
In the first phase, FPT University constructed its items on an area of 9 ha. An auditorium building, four dormitories, a multi-functional training ground, an ice-skating rink and a cafeteria were completed and put into operation in May 2012.
To meet students’ needs for accommodation, study and activity, in the near future, FU will continue to construct a 7-storey management building and two 5-storey dormitory buildings. These items are expected to be launched in November to and completed within a year.
