Chairman of FPT Software is a Typical White-collar 2012
The list of one hundred typical Vietnamese white-collars in 2012 has been declared by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Vietnam Association of Young Scientists and Engineers. Chairman Hoang Nam Tien of FPT Software is the only representative of software industry to be named in this list.

Chairman Hoang Nam Tien of FPT Software was highly appreciated for his outstanding achievement in 2012.
Despite challenges in the world’s economy during the past years, the software outsourcing industry of Vietnam has grown steadily. In the first nine months in 2012, software outsourcing grew 31%, the fastest growth rate in FPT Corporation. FPT Software was also the only member that had completed the initial business plan.
Under his leadership, FPT Software’s goal for “Growth” had been successfully achieved marked by the foundation of Frankfurt branch in Germany; recruitment of nearly 1,000 new staff and welcome the 4.000th employee , earning USD 81 million in revenue, growing 30% compared with 2011 and back on the fast growing track.
Particularly, it was Tien who had initiated the program “Doctor of Information Technology” to improve the quality of technical expert as well as facilitate them to independently developed products using new technology.
The title “Outstanding White-collar” is dedicated for members of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, central and local governmental agencies, universities, and research institutes taking part in the economic arena.
