Chim En Award 2013 attract 1,200 volunteers
In the evening of Sep. 22, more than 1,200 volunteers from all over the nation participated in the five-year closing ceremony and Chim En Volunteer Award 2013 held at the Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace.

The guests include Mrs. Pham Thi Thu Hang - General Secretary of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Mr. Nguyen Long Hai - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Mr. Thang Duc Thang - Editor-in-Chief of VnExpress as the information sponsor, Mr. Pham Dong Anh - Vice General Director of TienPhongBank and Chim En messengers including runner-up Miss Vietnam 2008 Thuy Van and Miss Vietnam 2012 Dang Thu Thao.
For FPT Corp, FPT Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bui Quang Ngoc, Vice General Director Chu Thanh Ha and CSR Director Truong Thanh Thanh also took part in the program.
Fives excellent organizations awarded include Phu Tho Disability Association, Quang Tri Youth Forum, Northern student association for ambulatory volunteering in Hanoi, Volunteer Blues Group and “Together for Community” Volunteer Association.
After 5 years, Chim En Volunteer Award aiming to honor contributions to the community has gathered nearly 600 volunteer groups with 60,000 volunteers nationwide through website Vicongdong.vn.
FPT CEO Bui Quang Ngoc said that despite being an economic group, FPT was always aware of importance of philanthropy. Therefore, in recent years, FPT has organized many volunteer activities. Website Vicongdong and Chim En Volunteer Award were in a series of activities. He hoped that this would create a playground to connect charitable individuals and organizations across the country.
