Cooperation agreement between FPT and Bac Kan province signed

August 11th, 2009- In the meeting hall of the People’s Committee of Bac Kan province, Mayor Truong Chi Trung and the CEO of FPT Information System (FPT - IS), Do Cao Bao, officially signed the agreement for Cooperation on the implementation of IT Applications in Bac Kan.

The event was attended by Mr. Trieu Duc Lan, Vice President of the Provincial People’s Committee and Ms. Hoang Thi Hy- Director of the Department of Information and Telecommunications, and representatives of the People’s Committee, the Committee of the Fatherland Front, and other governmental agencies in Bac Kan.

Attendees from FIS included Mr. Nguyen Quang Anh, General Director of FPT Information System for Public Financial Services Company (FIS PFS for short), Mr. Pham Anh Chien, General Director of FPT-Information System for Software Development (FIS SOFT), Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong, Senior Sales Manager, and implementers from FIS SOFT.

Upon signing the agreement, the two sides concluded the content of the cooperation program between Bac Kan province and FIS in the implementation of IT applications in state management, and at the same time informed departments and sectors in the province the deployment of subsystems of the software FPT.eGov developed by FIS, agreeing on the plan and responsibilities of each side during the program.

FIS PFS shall act as the contact point for FIS in the execution of this strategic cooperation program with Bac Kan province, and FIS SOFT shall be the solution provider and the implementer of the first e-Gov systems for the province.

FPT e. Gov was successfully deployed in a large number of districts and departments of provinces and cities in the South such as Ho Chi Minh City, Long Anh, Tra Vinh, Binh Duong, Ben Tre, An Giang, Khanh Hoa, Dong Thap, Vung Tau and Can Tho.

Ending the ceremony, on be half of FIS, Mr. Do Cao Bao sponsored an amount of fifteen million Dong for the Fatherland Front of Bac Kan province to support fifteen households and six families for their losses after the heavy flood in Pac Nam district.
