Copyright registration certificate granted for Mini MBA

FPT School of Business has received a copyright registration certificate for Mini MBA program.

The copyright registration certificate issued by the Copyright Bureau, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism dated June 26 said that the work "Mini MBA Program - cream of CEO’s practical management” was developed by FSB Associate Dean Dr. Tran Phuong Lan and Manager to R&D Department at FSB Nguyen Hong Ha. The curriculum framework of Mini MBA program as well as basic content of its 12 subjects would be protected by copyright.

According to Lawyer Nguyen Thanh Ha, President and Managing Partner of S&B Law, the copyright registration certificate granted by the Copyright Bureau recognized the legal ownership of FSB. Copying or illegally using even a small part of Mini MBA program can also be considered copyright infringement. At these cases, FSB may ask organizations and individuals to stop their own copyright infringement, even apologize, correct publicly and compensate.

FSB is the first to bring the term of MiniMBA to Vietnam in 2011 with a 3-month training program in order to provide leaders a core knowledge system in service of corporate governance. It is also the first to be granted the certificate for this type of work.

Explaining the copyright registration, Dr. Tran Phuong Lan said that a training unit was found to copy up to 10/12 subjects of MiniMBA. Thus, the FSB prepared copyright registration procedures for all products, including MiniMBA and 5 functional training programs consisting of CCO, CFO, Chro, SMM, MSM.
