Da Nang leaders and FPT’s countrerparts discuss Japanese language education

Besides universities and colleges, Japanese language training center, Dong Du Japanese Language, Computer Science - Foreign Language, Kyodai Japanese... aprticipated in the program. Training a team of IT engineers with Japanese skill will open up many opportunities to approach the potential market,then making Da Nang become a powerful center of software development.

Earlier, on February 27, Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee Mr Huynh Duc Tho had a meeting wih FPT leaders and asked the Da Nang Department of Education and Training to consider teaching Japanese at schools, universities and colleges in the 2015-2016 academic year.

Earlier, the Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee and FPT Software Chairman Hoang Nam Tien made commitments on teaching Japanese at universities and colleges in Da Nang.

After 10 years, FPT is now the largest IT company in Da Nang. According to FPT CEO Bui Quang Ngoc, Danang is one of three centers where FPT develops full business sectors besides Hanoi and HCMC.

It is also the software export center with the fastest growth rate, reaching 50-60%. More than 30 major companies around the world have selected FPT Software Danang to entrust software services. Most of them come from Japan. From 400 employees in 2011, FPT Software Danang reached 1,400 people in 2014. By 2015, the company expects to employ 700 people, towards 10,000 people and USD 170 million in revenue by 2020.

Currently, in order to get enough human resources to conquer the Japanese market, FPT Software is deploying the program of 10,000 bridge system engineers (BrSE) in the period of 2015-2020. In April, 13 trainees in the Central region and Highlands along with 30 others across the country went to Japan for abroad study.
