Deputy Minister of MEXT: ‘FPT needs to develop health program'

Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology MEXT Tsutomu Tomioka thought that FPT should build health care program or course to catch the trend when Japan and the United States are facing an aging population.

Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology MEXT Tsutomu Tomioka thought that FPT should build health care program or course to catch the trend when Japan and the United States are facing an aging population.

On July 29/7, Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) Tsutomu Tomioka made a visit to FPT Complex building.

For FPT, there were Director of FPT Software Da Nang Nguyen Tuan Phuong, Director of FPT City Bui Thien Canh, Director of FPT Polytechnic Nguyen Xuan Phong and Director of FISEC under FPT University Hoang Van Cuong.

During the meeting, Dr. Tsutomu Tomioka highly appreciated the contribution of FPT Corporation to the development of Japanese healthcare industry. He said that there will be more supportive plan should be taken into account toward mutual development of the two nations.

“Japanese and the United States are facing an aging population situation. If FPT Education has training programs relating to this growing industry in relation with close adherence from Japanese, the plan will get positive result,” said Dr. Tsutomu Tomioka.

Director of FPT Software Danang Nguyen Tuan Phuong led the delegation to visit FPT Complex Building. Mr. Tsutomu Tomioka highly appreciated the design of the building to 2020, as well as its goals.

Earlier, on July 18th, the delegation of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan headed by the Deputy Minister Tsutomu Tomioka had an open-air meeting with FPT Corporation as part of the official visit to Vietnam. According to him, the increasing number of employment opportunities in the sector of healthcare and nursing in Japan is a great opportunity for Vietnamese educational institutions. Especially, the favorable condition will be simulated to the healthcare human resources educated by FPT. At the mention of expanding the training to the health sector, Mr. Bui Quang Ngoc insisted that FPT would seriously consider this orientation.
