Disclosure on business result after 9 months of 2014

Upon execution of Circular No. 52/2012/TT- BTC dated April 05, 2012 on information disclosure in the stock market, FPT Corporation would like to announce the business result after the first 9 months of 2014:

After the first 9 months, FPT earned the total revenue of VND 24,287 billion, increasing by 21% compared to the same period last year and finishing 108% of the 9-month plan, primarily driven by growth from software export, Telecommunications, Distribution and Retail. Pre-tax profit reached VND 1.826 billion, down 0.7% compared with the same period last year, completing 98% of the 9-month plan. Profit-after-tax was VND 1,542 billion, increasing 1% compared to the same period of the prior year. Profit-after-tax of holding company was VND 1,178 billion, increasing 4% compared to the same period of the prior year. Earning per share (EPS) was VND 3,426, an increase of 4% compared to the same period.

Foreign markets continued to make positive contributions to both revenue and profit due to market expansion and M&A strategy. After 9 months, revenue from global businesses reached VND 2,519 billion, equivalent to USD 119 million, up 34% compared to the same period last year and Pre-tax profit was VND 401 billion, up 3% over the same period.

Former Chairman of the 6th largest IT company in the world join the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation

The Board of Directors of FPT Corporation approved the appointment of Mr. Tomokazu Hamaguchi, Chairman of JISA- the largest non-profit organization of Japan's IT industry, as a member of the BOD since January 2014. The BOD agreed to conduct the Shareholders’ General Meeting in order to approve Mr. Tomokazu Hamaguchi as an official member of the BOD in term of 2012 - 2017.

FPT commence FPT Complex in Da Nang

On August 13rd, FPT held an official groundbreaking ceremony of FPT Complex as its headquarters in the Central region. FPT Complex shows FPT’s long-term strategy of investment in the central region as well as aims to meet demand for growth here, towards the target of the largest software center in the Central region making remarkable contribution to the development of Da Nang's software industry and the software HR training here.

Merging FPT Software and FPT IS in Singapore

FPT Corporation’s the Board of Directors (BOD) just adopted the proposal of merging FPT Software Asia Pacific Pte.Lte and FPT Information System Singapore Pte.Ltd into FPT Asia Pacific Pte.Ltd (FPT APAC for short).

The move aimed at strengthening and consolidating FPT’s position in Singapore market, then creating a launcher for FPT to expand business and investment in other countries in the region.

FPT’s 2014 Annual Report listed Top 10

On July 26, FPT Corporation's 2014 annual report was honored Top 10 Annual Report by the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange Department and the Securities Investment newspaper. This is the 7th consecutive time FPT has been listed among this ranking.

FPT IS win USD 6.6 million contract in Bangladesh

On September 9, FPT IS officially announced it had successfully bid for a USD 6.6 million contract to provide and deploy an Integrated Tax Administration System for the Income Tax Department in the Bangladesh National Board of Revenue.

Under this turnkey contract funded by the Asian Development Bank, FPT IS will provide both applications and infrastructure for the client. The project is expected to be completed within 16 months.

FPT provide rail e-ticket system for VNR

FPT and Vietnam Railways (VNR) signed a contract for an electronic booking system for VNR in Hanoi, on July 31st. The VND 197 billion project will be completed in three stages over a period of seven years.

FPT IS provide security advice for Cambodian Government and business

On July 24, FPT Information System Company Ltd. (FPT IS) in collaboration with Ministry of Posts & Telecommunications of Cambodia organized a workshop named "Enhance information security capability for online services” in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The program attracted more than 100 attendants from the government and business sector. The representatives of ministries, state agencies and businesses had an exchange with as well as put questions to the security experts from FPT IS and the representative of Juniper, one of the leading security firms in the world.

In the morning of July 17, the opening ceremony of SAP ERP project between FPT IS and FECON took place in Hanoi.

FPT buy VNG’s ecommerce site

On July 9, FPT completed purchase of 123Mua.vn - the leading e-commerce site in Vietnam. FPT's ecommerce site www.sendo.vn will take over www.123mua.vn and implement the contracts with its customers. FPT aims to own an e-commerce site with the most transactions under the guarantee model.

FPT appoint Vietnam’s youngest rector

Dr. Dam Quang Minh, 35 was recognized as rector of FPT University by the People's Committee of Hanoi at the request of FPT’s BOD and FPT University (FU). Former Rector Dr. Le Truong Tung continued to hold the position of Chairman of FPT University’s BOD.
