East – West Seed Vietnam Company Ltd. invests in ERP

ERP is a complete ORACLE solution package serving the information and management needs of enterprises in areas such as finance, accounting, production, purchases and sales, inventory… ERP helps to improve East – West Seed Vietnam management and business processes in line with international standards. It also helps to reduce costs, raise productivity of seed production and distribution processes. The model is expected to be implemented in East – West Seed Vietnam offices and factories for the duration of one year.

Concerning the company’s investment in ERP, Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh, General Director of East – West Seed Vietnam says the goal of the investment is to raise the overall management capacities of managers as well as to improve the quality of products. East – West aims after the implementation of the project will be:

- Overall management of the organization’s production and business processes.

- Provide access to overall management skills for managers through the most modern information system available.

- Bring the domestic seed production industry up to international standings.

ERP will raise company’s productivity by providing speedier information updates and decision-making processes.

As for FPT-IS, Mr. Trần Trọng Nghĩa, Director of FPT-IS ERP revealed that this is the first instance of ERP implementation for the seed industry. Both FPT-IS and Oracle are committed to the successful implementation of the project for East – West Seed Vietnam as well as for the seed industry.
