“Electronic one-door”
About 200 delegates from 23 Southern provinces attended the seminar “Sharing experience on deploying electronic one-door model in southern districts” hosted by the Ministry of Information and Telecommunication in cooperation with FPT Information System (FPT IS) and Microsoft Vietnam.

On behalf of FIS, Mr. Nguyen Thanh An- Director of Government Software Development Center introduced the FPT.eGov developed by FIS, which is being deployed in Ho Chi Minh city and a number of provinces and cities across the nation.
With the implementation by FIS, the one-door electronic model has been applied for the first time in Tan Binh district of Ho Chi Minh City since 2005 and started in Thuan An (Binh Duong) in December 2008. It is showed that the state administrative agencies in districts are closest to the people, serving them the most directly with huge information to process. Therefore, a number of provinces and cities have defined the implementation of the electronic one-door model as the key IT application.
The seminar is the opportunity for district administrative agencies and solution provider to meet and share experience for expansion of typical models to minimize risk and cost during the implementation of the electronic one-door model.
