ERP project at Dien Quang Company Kicks Off
On 9 November 2006 a project team from the Ho Chi Minh City ERP Service Center held a meeting to discuss the roadmap and initial steps of an ERP project with the Dien Quang Company, which produces lamps. This is the first contract for the Ho Chi Minh City ERP Service Center in the fourth quarter of the year and is valued at $140,000. The project is expected to be completed within 15 months.

The project aims to develop a master plan for resources at the Dien Quang Company, applying ERP solutions running on Oracle in the fields of finance and accounting, purchasing and sales, storage and production. This ERP solution has been widely applied around the world and is highly appreciated by Dien Quang. The company believes the solution fits perfectly with the model it has been building.
Mrs. Ho Thi Kim Thoa, General Director of Dien Quang, expressed her wish to apply the solution in saying: “The first benefit of applying the ERP solution at Dien Quang will be an increase in business efficiency and better managed production. Information that serves administration and decision making processes will be more timely and concrete, saving intangible expenses in the management mechanism. The final result will be seen in the company’s balance sheet.”
