Former Wipro Global Head joins FPT USA

FPT Software just appointed Mr. Malay Verma as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of FPT USA to promote M&A orientation as well as hit the goal of USD 100 million in revenue in this market by 2016.

Mr. Verma will take charge of all sales activities as well as resources, including business solutions, technical sales, marketing, and customer relationship management activities as well as support the implementation of FPT’s M&A strategy in the US.

The newly-appointed business director of FPT USA (right) has 25 years of experience in the field of IT Outsourcing.

With 25 years of experience in the field of IT Outsourcing in India, Europe and the Americas, the newly-appointed CSO of FPT USA thought that Vietnam and India had a lot of similarities in the field of IT Outsourcing. FPT is making the same steps which the big companies of India did 20 years ago.

The advantages of FPT include large scale, wide-spread operation and success in many ICT areas from Telecommunications, Retail and Distribution, Software to Manpower Training. This largest software company in Vietnam with its experience of operating in many markets in the world has an advantage in attracting high-quality human resources.

FPT Software aims to achieve USD 100 million in the US by 2016 through organic growth and inorganic growth. According to Malay Verma, in order to hit this goal, FPT Software will double the organic growth rate and develop potential customers through big M&A deals.

Director of FPT USA Bui Hoang Tung expected this appointment to help FPT USA quickly get new customers among Fortune 1000 list, shorten time to develop existing customers and new customers from small to large scale and build a team of combative salesmen.

Earlier, in late January, FPT Software also appointed a former leader of DHL, Unilever Mr. Hatakeyama Tsutomu as Deputy Director of FPT Japan.
