FPT’s ERP implementation for REE Corporation
Morning of 18th August 2009, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Thanh – the Chairwoman cum CEO of REE Corporation officially signed the contract for an SAP ERP management system with FPT Information System Co., Ltd.

About REE Corporation
- Established in 1977 in the form of state-owned company with the original name of Refrigeration Equipment Trust Company.
- In 1993, the company was equitised with its name Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation.
- Listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE)
- Charter capital: 810,431,310,000 Dong
REE has invested more than 500,000 USD for consulting services by FPT, licenses by SAP ERP and hardware provided by FPT.
This is the second largest contract for SAP after the contract with Vietsteel Corporation in early
2008, confirming the position and capability of FPT in consulting and implementing complicated projects.
The project is scheduled to be deployed within a year, including two phases: Phase I for management of financial and governance accounting, sales management, storage and purchase management, as well as project management; Phase II for production management, human resources and payroll management and implementation of Reporting systems for leaders.
The project is expected to start in early September, 2009. The FPT project team shall mobilize its resources in the North and South to finish the project as scheduled and to the level of quality committed to REE.
