FPT - Agribank strategic partnership: FPT - Agribank’s significant partner in technology

Under the agreement, FPT Telecom will consult and cooperate with Agribank in its strategy of comprehensively modernizing and computerizing it network to help the bank reach its target of long-term development. The process includes many activities: drawing up a computerization plan, forming, introducing and conducting methods of information technology and telecommunications, and establishing, maintaining and upgrading Agribank’s portal system. As a pioneer in information technology assisted by global partners and with experienced staff, FPT Telecom is committed to supporting Agribank.

In particular, during Agribank’s equitization process, FPT Telecom will take part in consultancy thanks to its experience in equitization and the services provided by the financial intermediaries it has worked with.

The two parties pledged to make full efforts to collaborate, research, and promote opportunities in business, including enterprise development.

Mutual support in training was also emphasized in the cooperation agreement. FPT and Agribank will exchange experience, information and professional senior management skills and take advantage of FPT Telecom’s strength in developing IT human resources and other staff.

FPT’s Board of Management Chairman, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, said: “The agreement between FPT Telecom and Agribank will bring about long-term effective and stable collaboration. Agribank is FPT’s loyal customer in information and communications technology (ICT). Likewise, FPT is among Agribank’s important clients.
