FPT along with Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh attend WEF

FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh will accompany Deputy Prime Minister cum Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland from 22 to 25 January.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh and FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh will attend WEF 2014.

FPT will be one of 11 Vietnamese businesses to participate in WEF 2014 along with Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat.

This year's theme is “the Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business”. Discussion sessions will focus on the issues that the world has been facing due to rapid growth of science & technology, social change and changes in the global economic order.

In the framework of the WEF 2014, Chairman Truong Gia Binh along with Director of FPT USA Bui Hoang Tung and Managing Director of FPT Software in German Uwe Schlager will meet CEOs of giants to discuss business opportunities.

This year’s World Economic Forum will be attended by 1,500 business leaders and a record number of leading politicians and representatives from academia, Civil Society Organizations and New Champions community.

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting provides an unparalleled platform for leaders to map the complexity and interconnectivity of our changing world at the beginning of the year. The aim is to develop the insights, initiatives and actions necessary to respond to current and emerging challenges. FPT became a founding member of WEF in January 2011.
