FPT and Hitachi to jointly develop Vietnamese version of technology products

The FPT delegation led by Chairman Truong Gia Binh included Mr. Ogawa- former CEO of Hitachi Software Engineering (who is now the senior advisor for FPT Corporation), Ms. Bui Thi Hong Lien- senior assistant to FPT Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam- CEO of FPT Software, Mr. Tran Xuan Khoi- Director of FPT Japan, Mr. Tran Quoc Hoai- Chairman of FPT Trading Group and Mr. Hung Cong Hien- Director of Electronics Trading Center of FPT Trading.

During the three-day-visit, FPT and Hitachi dicussed six project groups in details, targeting at creating specific products for the Vietnamese market, especially the project to reinvest in industrial areas in Hoa Lac hi-tech park, which was assigned by the Vietnamese government.

The two sides aslo argue how to jointly create Vietnamese version for products based on Hitachi’s experience platform such as education solution, smart office, smart banking solution and general power infrastructure management for a smart city. FPT negotiated to distribute high-class IT products made by Hitachi in Vietnam.

In addition to exploring bussiness cooperation possibilities, FPT also visited the well-known Cyber Government System (CGS) and was introduced with hi-tech products manufactured by Hitachi in e-Government, smart city solution and the latest IT R&D innovations for the socio-economic development of Japan.

Previously, in early November and late December of 2011, Hitachi had visited and met with FPT Software and FPT Corporation.
