FPT and Microsoft sign enterprise agreement
In the morning of November 14, the signing ceremony of enterprise agreement (EA) between FPT and Microsoft took place at the Sofitel hotel, Hanoi. Under this EA, FPT will deploy Microsoft solutions inclusive of Windows Server, SQL and System Center, Microsoft Office and a lot of Microsoft productivity products.

Microsoft will develop suitable commercial terms to support FPT in training courses, technology, rights to use the software for a permanent term , services to deploy and upgrade new versions etc.
CEO of Microsoft Vietnam Vu Minh Tri said that as FPT was Microsoft’s strategic customer, the company empowered FPT to use its software services proactively not only in Vietnam but also all around the world.
According to CEO of FPT Bui Quang Ngoc, as an IT solution & service provider, FPT had a large number of customers, the majority of whom used Microsoft solutions. Devising Microsoft solutions would help FPT gain necessary experiences to provide customers with faster and better solutions.
The agreement will provide FPT with Microsoft software product licenses as well as the great support via offering suitable commercial terms to help FPT to license genuine Microsoft software through multi-year agreements.
FPT and Microsoft have cooperated for more than a decade since FPT got Microsoft copyright certificate on October 2, 2001. On June 21, 2007 FPT was recognized as the senior partner of Microsoft in Vietnam and authorized to use Microsoft Office software license for entire computer systems of government bodies and localities.
