Hanoi, Vietnam and Singapore – July 3, 2008 – FPT Corporation and SAP Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) oday announced a new strategic partnership to go-to-market in South East Asia and Japan. Under the agreement, FPT joins SAP’s Services Partner Program to introduce world class solutions and global best practices that will propel both of the companies in South East Asia and Japan into the global economy. SAP and FPT shall endeavor to execute the sales and marketing activities, and targeted to generate revenue for both sides. SAP committed to bring FPT to the markets outside of Vietnam where Singapore, Malaysia and Japan are the first destinations then go further the entitle region of Asian Pacific with this strategic partnership.

The partnership is an important step for FPT to accelerate its expansion into South East Asia and Japan, through the co-operative deployment of large scale ERP projects, value-added service and education program as part of the SAP ecosystem. With the total market sales volume relating SAP products and services in the next 5 years expected to be € 7 billion estimated by SAP, FPT shall grasp this chance to be more globally. The latest agreement marks the extension of the partnership relationship between SAP and FPT started in March 2007, when FPT was appointed to sell and implement SAP ERP, as well as deliver value-added services and the SAP Education Program in Vietnam.

With the revenue growth averaging 70% annually over the past five years, FPT is the largest private technology company in Vietnam by revenue.
