FPT and Vietnam Airlines ink agreement
In the afternoon of November 5, the MOU signing ceremony between Vietnam Airlines and FPT Corporation took place at the headquarters of General Aviation Company of Vietnam, at No. 200 Nguyen Son Str., Gia Lam district, Hanoi. Each side was committed to providing the best services to the counterpart.

Accordingly, FPT will assist Vietnam Airlines in improving and modernizing IT system in line with business requirements, specially in developing applications on mobile phones for regular customers of Vietnam Airlines and e-commerce websites. At the same time, FPT becomes Vietnam Airlines’ major customer, given the priority to use its transfer services for passenger and baggage.
The agreement has further tightened the relationship between FPT and Vietnam Airlines lasting for over 20 years. FPT has cooperated with Vietnam Airlines since providing the booking solution for Vietnam Airlines ticketing office on Quang Trung Street in 1991.
CEO of Vietnam Airlines Mr. Pham Ngoc Minh said that the firm’s IT development would focus on such key areas as technology development for sale and application of new technologies to the next-generation aircraft, further interaction with customers as well as improvement of corporate governance capacity and operating system.
Similarly, FPT is aiming at globalization with the goal of conquering major markets such as Japan, USA, Singapore, Myanmar, Europe etc. FPT’s onsite forces will be mobilized to go there in order to make the dream of USD 1 billion come true.
Chairman of FPT Truong Gia Binh affirmed the cooperation would be longstanding to promote the development of the two parties in accordance with the intelligence world.
