FPT announces the special scholarship grant and immediate enrolment project

Ha Noi April 16, 2009, FPT University has announced the immediate enrolment and short-list-free project for the 2009 enrolment season. The high-school students who are members of the national teams participating in international competitions will be able to be immediately enrolled in the University.

The high-school students who won the third prizes or higher prizes in Math, Physics, Chemistry or Biology in the national competition for 12-grade students will not have to take the entrance exam on April 26, 2009.

FPT University has also extended the time limit of receiving students’ files for those who are eligible for immediate enrolment and short-list-free policies by May 12 2009 and put their names into the interviewee list to get full scholarship for the whole course at FPT University.

The candidates for immediate enrolment into FPT University include:

- Members in the Olympic teams in Math, Physics, Chemistry or Biology who have graduated from high schools shall have the right to be immediately enrolled into the University. If they have not got a high-school degree, this policy will be applied when they have one.

The candidates for short-list-free policy at FPT University:

- High-school students who get third prizes or higher in Math, Physics, Chemistry or Biology in the National Competition for Excellent 12^th-grade Students.

All the candidates who are eligible for immediate enrolment or do not have to take part in the short-list will be interviewed to get a chance to be granted full scholarship for the whole course training IT engineers in English and Japanese at FPT University.

The necessary documents for the candidates who are eligible for immediate enrolment and short-list-free policies include:

- One immediate enrolment form of FPT University.

- 01 certified copy showing that the student had necessary achievements in the National Competition for Excellent 12^th-grade Students. (The student may hand in the temporary paper confirming the achievements by the high school he/she is studying at and supplement necessary documents in September 2009).

- 01 certified copy of his/her ID card.

- 04 3x4 photos (put in a small envelope, with the full name and birthday on that envelope and on each photo).

- 02 CVs with the seals of his/her mother’s/father’s offices or of the local governments.

Time limit for handing in documents for candidates who are eligible for immediate enrolment and short-list-free policies: By May 12 2009.

Besides, FPT University will also put the first priority for the students who have scored at least 28 in the university entrance exams organized by Ministry of Education and Training; the students who have had excellent achievements in arts, sports, social work, sciences and technologies recognized at the national level if they are successful in the enrolment exam of the University on April 26, 2009.
