FPT appoint two new Vice General Directors
On 28 April 2014, FPT Corporation’s Board of Directors (BOD) has approved the resolution on appointing Mr. Duong Dung Trieu as Vice General Director of Global Expansion and Mr. Nguyen Khac Thanh as Vice General Director of Global Human Resources.

This appointment follows the “FPT’s senior leadership rotation” program released by FPT in March 2014. Accordingly, FPT senior management will be rotated among the group’s business lines to gain various experience and to improve their leadership and management capabilities.
The appointment of two vice general directors in charge of global expansion is to strengthen the management team, which is FPT’s determination in implementing the Global Expansion strategy.
Mr. Duong Dung Trieu, who was born in 1973, joined FPT after graduated from Hanoi University of Technology in 1995. He has extensive experience in managing and implementing FPT’s large scale projects in banking, telecommunication, and taxation sectors both in domestic and international markets. He has been in charge of important positions including Deputy Director of FPT’s Software Centre No. 3, Managing Director of FPT’s Software Solutions (FSS), Vice General Director of FPT IS and CEO of FPT IS.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Thanh, who was born in 1964, joined FPT in 1991. He graduated as a Bachelor of Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MGU) in 1987 and obtained his Candidate of Science Diploma in Mathematics and Physics from the same university in 1990. He was one of the first people to be in charge of the new operation of FPT in education and is capable of mobilizing the human resource and unleashing employees’ potential. He has been through important positions at FPT including Deputy Director of FPT’s software production center, Director of International Programmer Training Centre, and Vice Principal of FPT University.
