FPT attend 'Computers for Life 2014'

FPT Telecom will introduce ViOlympic.

“Computer for Life” Day is held by the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province and Vietnam Association for Information Processing. Besides FPT, the program has the participation of major IT companies such as Viettel, VNPT, Intel, Microsoft, Tinh Van etc.

The program aims at promoting the universalization of IT in Thai Nguyen, helping people in difficult areas with direct access to IT services & solutions, computers and Internet to serve production, business and everyday life.

There will be three main activities including booths to introduce services, technology experiences and IT applications; outdoor classrooms to train basic computer skills for residents, students and pupils and workshops. On March 21^st, a seminar will be held to connect successful people, big businesses with young people nurturing IT ideas.

In the framework of the program, there will be a series of companion events joined by many IT companies in the country such as FPT Telecom, Intel Vietnam, Microsoft etc.

In the academic year 2013-2014, FPT Telecom became the main sponsor of ViOlympic with the total of VND 3.5 billion. At the same time, the company holds V-Olympic companion programs at 63 secondary schools in 21 provinces and cities nationwide.
