FPT attended seminar on digital signatures
August 4th, Ho Chi Minh City-The seminar themed “Digital signature- entrance key for enterprises to e-Commerce and e- Government” was held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC)

FPT Distribution (a member of FPT Trading Group) attended the seminar as a provider of infrastructure products to ensure the performance of the digital signature.
The seminar was under the framework of the project “Support enterprises to apply IT for integration and development, period 2006- 2010” by VCCI under the direction of the Government.
The aim of the seminar was to raise the awareness of enterprises of the role and the importance of digital signatures in e-trading and connection to the e-government in the integration into the global market.
The importance and necessity of digital signatures for enterprises, conditions of digital signature application, its feasible applications and opportunities and challenges were also presented.
In addition, the use of digital signatures in online tax declaration forms was presented by leaders of the Department of Innovation and Reform- General Department of Taxation.
With this theme, VCCI organized similar seminars in Danang and Ho Chi Minh City and expects another one to take place in Can Tho on 7th August.
